You might already know that customers, clients and others will NOT automatically find you just because you have a great product or service.

Sure, you can use social media, it's free and it does work given some effort, skill and time. The bottom line is that it takes both work "and" time on your part to get the word out there to the masses via free social media marketing methods.

Is there another way? Yep, advertising...

If you have a home business it takes more then just telling others to join you, sometimes it takes an investment of money (yep, pull out some green) through good old fashioned advertising. Whether your advertising is broadly dispersed to the winds or it's targeted to a specific niche market, the fact that you're investing in advertising is one of the first steps to building your business (whatever it is) bigger.

When you combine your paid for advertising with social media, viral marketing video's and any other types of offline or online marketing it's only then that you cover all bases. With that you get the most visibility where it really matters... in front of the eyes of potential and future customers, clients and more.

What brought on this particular blog subject and post? A traffic and visitor check on the free mini marketing sites we give each and every member on our team. It started out as a simple review of site traffic, yet what it turned up was four (4) team members "investing" their money into their personal Lotto Magic home business through online advertising.

That's a total of 2578 page views (2392 unique) visitors to the free team marketing for a 7 day period starting on Thurs. Oct. 24 through Thurs. Oct 31st, or an average of 368 page views per day. Not all of it was generated by four "top" marketing team members, however a portion of it was.

So who are the "big dogs" willing to invest in their home business, their team and their future?

Lotto Magic Free Team Advertising - Is YOUR Upline Really Helping You?

We've been team building since 2005 which is a very long time to be focused on one MLM company especially these days where we've seen network marketing companies launch as fast as others have closed their doors. At the same time we've seen other Lotto Magic teams come and go over the years, many because the upline was focused solely on building "wide" on their first level. Along the way they forgot that "building deep" below others on the team is one of the most important (and proven) strategies for the long term success of the team as a whole.

Yea, you won't earn as much when members join below the first level but then you have to decide... do I want to earn $120 for that member (Mega Captain) for a couple months? Or would I prefer to earn $8 from that member for many years. And that is the long term formula for success, help those on your team grow their team so they earn an income, period.

At the same time and in order to be a complete success with any type of team building it takes thousands of dollars in advertising and focused marketing to get noticed in the vast ocean called the Internet. That's what we've been doing for the team since 2005... rolling team commissions back into team advertising, we just couldn't afford spending all this money for the team otherwise, not so sure anyone could for any length of time.

So, we don't just say we're advertising, we show you where we're advertising Lotto Magic whether as banners on actual web sites and blogs, or through social networks such as Facebook. And we show you what our marketing and SEO efforts have resulted in. Blind faith is fine, however we don't believe you should be put in that position, it's our responsibility to prove to you that we are advertising for you just as we say we are.

Regardless of the program you're in and it doesn't matter whether it's an affiliate program, network marketing or MLM program... if your upline says "join me, we advertise for you free" then it's in your best interest to ask them... "Where is it exactly that you advertise?". If they cannot show you, then they aren't.

What I like about Lotto Magic - Big Apple Lotto Club

What I like about joining this particular team is that they completely dominate the Internet for many of the most important and key Lotto Magic related search terms.

For me it started when I received a Lotto Magic postcard in the mail, we're talking from the mailman here. I got curious and went to Google search which then took me to YouTube which took me to the different team sites, wow, this team was absolutely everywhere.

Finally I went to Google images and saw that they dominate there too and after some more research I saw the advertisement they place for the team, the marketing they do, the social sites and eventually I ended up at the online team newspaper.

If this was the route I ended up on I also knew there would be thousands of others doing just what I did, you know receive a postcard through the mail from really anyone in Lotto Magic, go online and research and end up somehow and someway at one of the team sites to join, I think that's powerful marketing and I joined.

What I like about Lotto Magic - Toddy Boy Lottery Consulting

I have always been interested in the Lottery, especially the Powerball which I've played for years. When I found the Lotto Magic team it didn't take me too long to realize they're about team building.

What caught my eye and what I personally like the best of everything is the fact that they are about building deep in the team for the benefit of the team, me included. I discovered that before I ever joined, clicked on a join link and knew that I had to join a team member that joined the team earlier, so I knew others would have to join me too, I liked that part the best.

 

I don't mind marketing at all and I do, but a little extra help from my up line team (rare these days) is a welcome thing for me "and" for those that have already joined me on my team. They are also in the free team URL rotator so they receive free visitors and sign-ups. Another thing I like about this system and team is that I know they are advertising for the team which is completely free to us, and I can go the team site and see exactly what they're doing for us so I like that they don't just say they're advertising and marketing for the benefit of the entire team, I can see it happening with my own eyes!

Business Card Marketing to Build Your Business? Yes, if you do it the right way.

In these days of instant communication and instant information we sometimes forget that generating interest and business can be as simple as a little ol' piece of paper. Yes I'm talking about the ubiquitous business card. In days gone by, the business card was handed out like candy on Halloween. There were even special card holders so you could file them away for later reference, binder albums with plastic inserts or if you were like most you might have simply thrown them in a drawer - to be sorted out later, uh huh.

 
Today they're still used although the current trend is to have them "scanned" into your computer by special software so you can access them electronically on your computer or smart phone in mere nano seconds. Type in a persons name or company name and there it is in all its digital glory. Delete, rearrange, search or sort, you decide.

Most recently we received a business card we especially liked. It had all the components of a mini web site which is what initially caught our attention. I'm sure you've seen the old school business cards with the standard "This is my Company, here's my name, this is my title, you can contact me this way". OK fine that works, it's boring, but it gives your contact information... Is that enough in these competitive times of ours, can you say even more, can you sell what you offer better and ultimately get a clearer message to your reader in the few seconds that you have, and can YOU stand out from the others? Yes you can if you think outside the box, use some imagination and think "sales" and not just "contact".

So the moral of this marketing story is... if you're going to spend your time & money to have your business cards designed, created and printed, then give your reader a card they'll remember, a card that will sell for you and a card that will make YOU stand out from the "ho-hum, straight and narrow, inside the box" business card crowd!

Team building with Lotto Magic, what do we do for YOU...

I've been asked "How doe's the Lotto Magic Team down line building system actually work?"

I've explained to others that visitors are generated in numerous ways through offline and online marketing. These visitors then go to the various team related sites and from there the visitors are sent through the "free team URL rotator". From the team URL rotator they're sent to a team member (your) Lotto Magic website.

Sure, it sounds simply enough however as a graphics guy I relate better to images so I took everything about the already proven team building system and I created a  graphical view of how the visitors are generated, where they're sent and I show how they end up being "funneled" to YOUR Lotto Magic site.

What are the benefits of those Facebook likes?

We've all heard people say "like" my Facebook page. Go ahead and raise your hand if you're one of them and if you are it's perfectly OK (we are too). There are also companies that market and sell "likes" and Facebook itself will help you get more "likes" if you want them. It's not entirely a popularity contest though some view the "likes" on their page as a badge of approval or acceptance. It's actually much deeper then that and it has to do with increasing your brand awareness while increasing visitors to your Facebook page at the same time.

So likes are valuable and go far beyond a number you can be proud of on your page. Those "likers" are the ones that will spread your brand far and wide, sure, yea even while you're sleeping. Besides learning about the value of those people that are liking your page, Facebook also has a like help page so you have a better understanding of what exactly likes are, how to use them, and how they benefit you or your company.

Are we using this information for the benefit of the team, you betcha. Most recently we began our team "like" campaign there at Facebook, it's brand new and we're just testing the waters however we'll provide an update on this post once the ad runs its course and we have some juicy data for you.

For starters our current likes as of this post is 947, built up over a period of 5 months from when the team Facebook page was upgraded from personal to business (and had to be rebuilt from scratch). As a test ad the financial investment is very small (under $100) and the total ad run time is a mere 10 days, however if the "likes" prove beneficial to the team then it's just a matter of renewing the ad or creating a new ad (less then 3 minutes). OK, so here's the team ad we're running at Facebook now to include the targeted audience that we want to "like" us...

Start your own home business? Do it!

If you're here at our blog it's possible you're looking to start your own home business like thousands already have (most all those Mom & Pop web sites and blogs out there). If our Lotto Magic lotto pool home business doesn't suit you then that's no biggie, there are plenty of other things you can do online to earn some extra moola.

Every home business has to start somewhere

It all starts with you and what you know, what you like and what you're passionate about. Maybe it's crafting where you physically make something cool with your talents and want to sell them offline (flea markets, consignment) or online through eBay or from your own site.

Or maybe it's an affiliate program closely tied to your current web site content where for instance you might have a "pet" related web site and can sell pet related goodies via an affiliate company, direct from the supplier, or maybe you just want the simpleness of running Google ads on your site?

Well here on my wimpy little blog there's just no way for me to cover it all but I wanted to at least get you thinking about it.. that IS the first step. Now that it's in your head (such power I wield) I recommend you take the next step which is research. Just remember with a home business you can do it part time on your schedule, without spending money on advertising and who knows... yea, it could even be your full time job "income generating" home business if you work at it.

Lotto Magic Domain Name Forwarding

It's always a good marketing method to use a "custom" domain name. You can then have your domain name automatically "forward" your visitors to your free main Lotto Magic site, the free mini site provided to you by the team, or to either of your two "lead capture" pages available to you from the company.

The best part is that a custom domain name gives you the ability to better describe "what your business is about" before anyone clicks on your link, and it's also more likely to increase your click-through rates at the same time. Yea, and you do want people to click through to your site of course.

Using Domain Forwarding with Lotto Magic

Here's an example of what Joseph did... He registered the domain name www.LottoPooler.com, (very good name choice and directly related to Lotto Magic), he then forwarded the domain to his Team Free Lotto Magic site Sweet?... you betcha it is.

First of all thanks to all current team members and also thanks to the team member's that have joined the team recently. It really is YOU that generates the team income which can then be rolled back into advertising and marketing for the direct benefit of you and your team - it is appreciated!

Glad you that wrote liked the display ads. They have been sent to the publishers, some to be in print early May as mentioned in an earlier post. There also some that will run for a year (probably mentioned that too) and still others where the publication of the ads will be spaced out so there's some overlap but more importantly constant coverage.

You can view many more of the Team's Lotto Magic related ads at the team news and update site. A new page was recently added as a single location to place these and future advertisements. Remember these are "your" ads since they drive traffic to the team marketing site and from there directly to your Lotto Magic marketing web site through the URL rotator. New Lotto Magic Newspaper Display Ads!

The new Lotto Magic advertising display ads for the 2013 cycle are complete. These are for use strictly for offline marketing (not online) so of course they're black & white. OK, that's a quick blast for today. Currently working on the voice over for the NEW Team Free Lotto Magic (TFLM) video's which will be used on the free member mini-marketing sites.
